Eric Kalisky attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and served 20 years before retiring as a Commander. He served as a Surface Warfare Officer and his assignments included Intelligence Officer, Weapons Officer, Combat information Center Officer and Boat Group Commander. Notably, Eric received the Ship Handler of the Year award. One of Eric's proudest memories is his participation in rescuing all crew members of a Marine Corps helicopter that lost power and crashed into the Indian Ocean. Eric was also recognized for chasing down and apprehending an armed purse snatcher in San Diego.

Eric also spent time as an officer recruiter, and he was selected as the national Officer Recruiter of the Year three times. Additionally, Eric was the second-in-command of a 13-state Naval Reserve Recruiting Command.

After completing his naval service, Eric began his career as a Realtor working for Prudential California Realty and after the company was purchased by Warren Buffet the name was changed to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. During Eric's first year in real estate, he earned the Rookie of the Year Award. When it comes to other awards, Eric was voted San Diego's Best Real Estate Agent in the San Diego Union Tribune Reader's poll for 2019 and 2020. In 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023, he was voted one of San Diego's top-ten Real Estate Agents in the San Diego Union Tribune reader's poll. Eric is a 16-time recipient of San Diego Magazine's annual Five Star Real Estate Professional Award for exceptional customer service and has been recognized in Forbes magazine's "500 List" as one of the most prominent real estate agents in the nation.

Practicing the Rotary ideal of "Service Above Self" Eric was awarded the Rotarian of the Year Award. Eric has been active supporting the San Pasqual Academy, "a first in the nation residential education campus designed specifically for foster youth." He is involved in "Gift of Life" an organization that provides funding for operations for children with life-threatening heart conditions in developing nations. He was a board member for an extraordinarily successful fund raiser for "Angel Faces" an organization that "provides intensive education, healing retreats and ongoing support for girls and young women with burn/trauma injuries."

Eric sells everything from condos to mansions and has sold some of the finest estates in San Diego County. As a listing agent, he has developed creative and highly successful marketing plans to bring sellers the highest price and best terms possible.
